Hi! I'm Shawna Miller, the creator behind Scrawny Girl. I have a fatal attraction to cuteness, that you can see reflected in my art and everyday life.

I'm addicted to coffee, Hello Kitty, cupcakes, manga, and dying my hair.

My inspiration comes from all things kawaii, sweets, anime, and fashion. My tools of the trade are watercolor and watercolor pencils, pigma pens, and my trusty sewing machine.

My husband came up with the name for my shop/blog a few years ago. We were talking about the nicknames we had growing up (the good, the bad, the ugly), and he asked me if anyone ever called me Scrawna (because I was a scrawny kiddo). Later after seeing my doodles, he dubbed them Scrawny Girls.
