Jubitron the Girl Robot, A Review

The first thing I did when I got my iPad mini, was look for some cute apps for Amelia. Jubitron the Girl Robot is the first one I found, and Amelia loves it! For .99 it has been a huge help at bedtime calming down my cranky little one.

The graphics are cute and interactive. The music is great! Amelia has been digging this app since she was 3 months old, and I can't wait for her to learn how to read so she can read the story to me. There is a 'read to me' option that has the cutest British narrator.

This is Amelia's favorite page, because she can touch the head and make the lightbulb pop out! Again, the music really makes it!

I've been recommending this app to all my friends with children. I hope they make more stories of Jubitron and the gang soon!

You can get your very own copy at the Apple App Store.

The opinions here are my own, and I was not paid to do this review. I just thought this app/story was cute and rad and wanted to share.

Do you have any children's apps you would recommend? Leave a comment, I'd like to check them out!

Things have been busy around here, and every time I get a second something else comes up. I saw this over at Lariats and Lavender and decided to play along.

Reading I just finished the third book in the Confessions of a Shopaholic series, and I'm trying to decide what to read next.

Wondering how to make more time fit in a day. Or how to build a time turner.

Feeling Thankful that my husband has a second interview for a better paying job.

Eating lots of cherries and ramen.

Watching besides My Little Pony or Littlest Pet Shop with Amelia, I've been sneaking in some KamiSama Kiss.

Working On finding a routine to get more done with a baby. It's tough. I need time to work out, work on illustrations for my children's book, and dolls...but none of it is happening right now. I mostly focus on keeping Amelia happy, fed, and on a quasi nap schedule.

Loving my iPad mini. It helps me get so much done with a baby sleeping on me.

Drinking mineral water or strawber-Rita's.

Playing nothing right now. But that new Animal Crossing game looks cute.

Listening To the new Paramore album when I get the chance or 90's alternative pandora.

Wearing Paramore ice cream tee and some GAP pale pink khakis.

Wanting a vehicle with A/C, Coffee, and these overalls that I will never be able to afford.

Following I haven't been reading too many blogs lately, mostly books or manga.

Reading Books: "Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns)"

Picture 27Amelia decided to take a nap, and I was able to finish this amazingly awesome book. I picked it up at Target one day because everyone was talking about it on Instagram and Twitter. Also, because the cover was cute and hipster-y. Truthfully, I had no idea who Mindy was, but now I want to watch The Office and The Mindy Project (as soon as it's on Netflx, I'm all over it!).

Some of my favorite chapters include, 'The Day I Stopped Eating Cupcakes' and 'Franchises I Would Like To Reboot'. I am all for your Ghostbusters idea Mindy! I also learned a lot about the comedy world, what it would be like to live in LA and New York (which were always dreams of mine growing up), and Irish Exits. I recommended my husband read this book, and I give it as many stars as you're able to give.

So if you've lost your puppy and have been feeling kinda bummed, pick up this book, it's guaranteed to make you feel better and wish Mindy was your BFF.
