Songs That Remind Me of You

My husband came home from a month long tour a few years ago with this album, saying this song reminded him of me. Every time this song comes on our shuffle, he always says "this song makes me think of you". I've never asked him why, but I think it's cute.

We actually had the chance to see Josh Ritter live at SXSW a few years ago in a church. It was the best show ever! He played acoustic and right when he said to the heavens, "please don't smite me for playing this song in a church," the power went out and he played it anyway.

He's the best storyteller, and I love so many of his songs. I can listen to his albums for months, especially on vinyl. I am also in love with this song and video:  

 If you ever get a change to see him live, you won't regret it. I also recommend all his albums, although The Historical Conquests of Josh Ritter is my favorite.

Happy Anniversary

Today is our 3 year anniversary! (We kept thinking it was 4). Even though it seems like we were so young (which we weren't me:27, him: 33), it's crazy to think that now we are parents!

Our wedding day was super magical, and if it weren't for our friends and family it wouldn't have turned out so special.

So, Happy Anniversary to the love of my life and BFF and the best dad a little girl could ask for! xo

Happy Birthday

Today is my husband's birthday! He's my best friend and the best dad ever! Amelia and I are off to make him some brownies! xo

Happy Vinyl Day

Happy Valentines Day!

Right now my husband is playing a show in town with Lucero. So I am making chocolate mustaches and hearts, listening to vinyl, and dyeing my hair. Amelia is sleeping in her swing like a little angel.

My husband and I have a Valentines Day tradition where we buy each other vinyl and usually eat Asian food. So it's been a great day!




I've also been hard at work on my dolls and a cute (and quick) business card idea. Here's a sneak peek at some unfinished dolls.
